Paula Kinslow is a graduate of Clyde High School and has been the Director of Curriculum and Special Programs since January 2, 2008. She worked for eleven years in the Abilene Independent School System. In Abilene Mrs. Kinslow started her teaching career as the science teacher for the newly formed discipline alternative program for grades 6-12. She spent seven years at Cooper High School teaching several science courses and then obtained her first administrative position as an Instructional Specialist for Franklin Middle School. After two years at middle school she moved back to Cooper High School as an Instructional Specialist and finally was one of the 9th grade Academy administrators before coming to Clyde CISD.

She received her undergraduate degree in Interdisciplinary Studies and master’s degree in Education from Abilene Christian University.

Paula is married to Mike Kinslow and they have three children, Justin, Tara, and Mikayla.

Mrs. Kinslow has great enthusiasm for education and especially teaching. The relationships that are made between student and adult are so very precious. The many teachers that were monumental in her life helped to mold her into the person she is today. The life of educators is a calling—only a few are chosen.

Vision Statement: Clyde CISD will empower successful leaders for the challenges of the future.
Mission Statement: T.E.A.M.  -  Teaching, Encouraging, Achieving, Motivating
